Head of HR

Rahel has been with BakerHicks since 2007 and knows the European side of the company and its processes inside out. Her responsibilities include developing and leading the HR department as well as the company training scheme in D-A-CH. Her focus is to ensure that BakerHicks continues to thrive as an attractive and modern employer, which includes the implementation of various initiatives including home working arrangements and training schemes such as LinkedIn Learning.

She supports the growth of the company and proactively drives the HR processes across our European countries and departments. Rahel is passionate about communication as well as professional development, ensuring the right environment so that individuals can grow at a personal level and to the benefit of the company.

It’s important that we are coordinated between the different departments, both at a central services and a disciplinary level. If we have an understanding of each other's activities and know the processes outside of our own, we’re able to think as one team. We speed up, the quality of our output increases and tasks become more meaningful, whether we’re helping a colleague or a client.

As managers of people in a fast-moving industry, no two days are the same. We love to help and knowing that our work can have a positive impact on an individual’s development is really motivating.
