CDM Manager

A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience, Peter advises on and oversees BakerHicks’ compliance with Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations. He facilitates the incorporation of health, safety and welfare considerations in our designs so that risk is successfully managed.

Peter has extensive experience in design and construction, having worked on many new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors since joining the company in 1990

He now coordinates the Principal Designer role under CDM, having previously completed a significant number of projects as CDM Coordinator/Planning Supervisor.

He is well acquainted with all aspects of projects and this knowledge informs his role as CDM Manager. This enables him to provide our designers and project managers with training and advice on CDM good practice, ensuring we are constantly pushing health and safety standards forwards.

He is also a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Association for Project Safety.
