Marking just the beginning of the journey, by signing the Covenant BakerHicks have committed to providing ongoing support to the service personnel, veterans and military families connected to the business.
Informed by colleagues with armed forces experience, they have put in place a strategy for support and outreach engagement. This includes the establishment of an Armed Forces Hub working group, consisting of employees with personal connections to the military.
This comes in conjunction with Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver accreditation being awarded to all Morgan Sindall Group companies, including BakerHicks, for their commitment to making the most of the skills former military personnel can bring to the industries they operate in.
The Group is now targeting achieving ERS Gold status, with the wheels already in motion to ensure all qualifying criteria is being hit.
