Martin joined BakerHicks as Managing Director in December 2015 from Colliers International where he was the UK Chief Operating Officer.
With over 40 years’ experience and a background in civil engineering and project management, Geoff leads BakerHicks’ Public Sector work with clients such as PHE and Warwick University. He also leads on health and safety, contract reviews and trouble shooting for the business, as well as being responsible for the CDM team.
A Chartered Chemical Engineer with extensive domestic and overseas experience in the pharmaceutical, speciality chemical, nuclear and petrochemical industries, Mark is responsible for Life Sciences and Industry at BakerHicks. He is primarily focused on business development and operations management for a number of complex projects.
John is a technically qualified director with over 30 years' experience in delivering projects in multi-disciplinary, highly regulated environments.
Alwyn is an Electrical Engineer with over 18 years’ experience in delivering major multi-discipline projects in the UK, Australasia and South Africa. He is responsible for the Infrastructure division at BakerHicks, providing overall leadership and strategy for the Aviation, Power, Rail and Public sectors. He also heads up BakerHicks’ Power sector, leading our team of experts on some of the industry’s most challenging high voltage projects of up to £1.2 billion in value across the UK.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Chris is responsible for the finance and commercial functions at BakerHicks. He supports BakerHicks’ Managing Director in performance management of the business, ensuring the finance and commercial targets are aligned to and support the overall strategy.
A highly experienced business leader and a Chartered Engineer, John is responsible for business development at BakerHicks.
Andy heads up BakerHicks’ civil and structural team. He has extensive experience of providing civil and structural engineering consultancy services in a variety of sectors, including education, health, aviation, commercial and public sector offices, retail, custodial, defence, residential, light-industrial and leisure. Projects include new build construction, alterations, refurbishments and extensions to existing buildings, as well as associated civil engineering infrastructure.
David has over 30 years’ experience within the industry, over 20 of which has been at BakerHicks.
David has over 30 years’ experience in architectural and building surveying practices at all RIBA stages. At BakerHicks, he heads up the architecture team, working to deliver quality design solutions in line with client aspirations and functional requirements.
A Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 35 years’ experience, over half of which is in engineering consultancy, Gavin has an excellent track record in delivering complex and assurance driven projects in highly regulated industries.
A Chartered Chemical Engineer, Gavin has over 15 years’ experience of working within highly regulated, complex manufacturing environments. He heads up the Process department at BakerHicks, managing our EC&I, Mechanical & Piping and Process Engineering teams.
An Electrical Engineer with 45 years’ industry experience, Graham heads up BakerHicks’ Electrical Services team. He has a proven track record in delivering large and complex projects across a wide range of sectors, including the aviation, defence, healthcare, life sciences, nuclear, power and rail industries.
A Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years’ experience, James heads up BakerHicks’ Mechanical Services team. He is highly knowledgeable in the delivery of a wide range of projects, from inception to completion in a multi-discipline environment. His experience spans across many sectors, including the highly regulated life sciences, rail, aviation and defence industries.
A highly experienced project director and business leader, James has spent the last 14 years of his 20 year career focusing on the rail sector working in both consulting and contracting environments. During this time he has delivered growth, developed clients and portfolios of work, and managed operational teams and programmes of work.
A qualified architect with 13 years’ experience, Laura is head of Scotland at BakerHicks. She works with our multi-discipline teams to deliver projects across a wide range of sectors in Scotland, including the aviation, defence, rail and public sectors.
A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience, Peter advises on and oversees BakerHicks’ compliance with Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations. He facilitates the incorporation of health, safety and welfare considerations in our designs so that risk is successfully managed.
A CIPD qualified HR practitioner, Pete is responsible for HR at BakerHicks. Working in partnership with the leadership team, he ensures our HR strategy is aligned to and supports the overall business strategy, enabling growth and improvement across the company.
A highly experienced project manager, Rob has spent the last ten years of his 13 year career specialising in the aviation industry. He is responsible for the aviation sector at BakerHicks, providing strategic, business development and operations management leadership across all aviation projects.
A Chartered Civil Engineer, Tom has over 17 years’ experience across the construction and infrastructure industries.
Trevor leads BakerHicks’ architectural team in Scotland, delivering projects across all sectors and is also our resident BIM expert. He is a key member of the core group responsible for the implementation of the BIM strategy across the Morgan Sindall Group.
