BakerHicks on right track with FirstRail Group Framework.

The framework will support projects across Avanti West Coast and Great Western Railway and South Western Railway. Spread across seven Lots, it will require support and services across a broad range of specialist disciplines.  

BakerHicks have been appointed to both Lot 1 for Property and Stations Design and Lot 5 for Infrastructure and Depot Design, reflecting the strength and depth of their rail expertise. Their highly skilled and RISQS-certified team will support delivering a variety of projects across FirstRail’s UK portfolio, including architectural, civil and structural works, mechanical and electrical engineering, and signalling and infrastructure engineering.

This follows BakerHicks’ recent appointment to the four-year Transport Design Services Framework for York and North Yorkshire Councils and the YORconsult3 Framework, covering over £150m of public sector infrastructure across Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East, Lincolnshire and parts of the Midlands.
