Architectural students treated to VR demo at Manchester School of Architecture Jobs Fair
A team from our Salford Quays office attended the Manchester School of Architecture Jobs Fair to talk to students about BakerHicks and the types of opportunities that are available both during and on completion of their studies.
As well as providing information on the company and the support they would receive to continue their learning; the team also demonstrated our BIM capability. Students were given the opportunity to try out various forms of Virtual Reality, our team showed them how their designs could be brought to life and the benefits this has for our clients.
We showcased a range of roles currently being advertised, as well as detailing the other opportunities on offer for students to grow within our business. And, we hope to be welcoming some students of the school to BakerHicks in the near future.
The Manchester School of Architecture is jointly administered by the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University, and is currently 7th in the QS World University Rankings for their subject. As well as attending the jobs fair, the students also previewed some of their work to the industry representatives in attendance.
