BakerHicks secure place on £500m Pagabo Professional Services Framework
BakerHicks have secured 12 lots on Pagabo’s Professional Services Framework, which covers projects up to £500m.
The framework will run for four years from April 2020, it will see 77 providers split across 19 service specific lots over seven geographical regions. The specific lots include civil, structural and highways engineering, building services, architecture, landscaping, and building surveying.
BakerHicks have been appointed to both the civil and structural engineering lots in four separate regions – Scotland, Wales, London and South East, and Northern Ireland; as well as the building services engineering (mechanical and electrical) lots in Scotland and Wales; and the architectural design services lots for Scotland and London and South East.
Geoff Cox, Executive Director at BakerHicks, says:
“We are thrilled to have been named on Pagabo’s Professional Services Framework, their commitment to delivering social value and exploring new and innovative methodologies to deliver better projects is something that is strongly reflected in our values. We have a strong heritage in public sector design, which we will be able to bring to the framework to help deliver high quality facilities that benefit their local communities.”
To be considered for Pagabo’s Professional Services framework, providers were required to go through a rigorous OJEU compliant tender process, prove strong finances and relevant experience. As well as this, providers on Pagabo frameworks are required to share the company’s passion for social value and technology.
Simon Toplass, CEO at Pagabo, adds:
“We were blown away by the number of responses to the tender for this second iteration of our Professional Services framework. It’s been a hugely competitive process due to the record number of applications from well over 200 individual providers.
“The current generation of the framework has enabled close to 700 projects since its inception and is on track to reach its upper limit of £200m. Furthermore, over £141m of social value has been enabled to date.”
